Trailhead Plowing

MBA funds road plowing to these popular trailheads in winter:

Gash: Working with private land owners and the USFS, we fund the plowing of Gash Creek road past the private homes to a parking area reducing conflict with residents. Please do not park in any private driveways.

Wisherd: In conjunction with MTB Missoula, we help fund plowing to winter fat biking trails and a human powered access route to Wisherd Ridge.

Pine Creek: Working with a private landowner, we plow Pine Creek to the Forest Service boundary, and turnouts lower down the road for parking. Please do not park in any private driveways.

Funds for plowing come from our annual Backcountry Film Festival, which is MBA’s only fundraiser.
