Backcountry Film Festival

Each January, MBA hosts a backcountry film festival in Bozeman and Missoula. This is our only fundraiser to support our work to increase and protect access.

Montana Backcountry Alliance, in partnership with Arc’teryx Equipment, is thrilled to announce our 2026 film festivals! Come out for the sweet films chronicling our favorite winter pastime. Come out for the chance to connect with your fellow skiers and riders. And—obviously—come out for our famous raffle, including some big prize giveaways from Arc’teryx, Big Sky Mountain Products, Spire Climbing Gym, and more.
